KANAPITSA WI-FI Hotspot-Connection Settings

How can I connect to the Internet?

For your connection you must be within the open areas of Hotel-Suites Cape Kanapitsa and you can gain access via a laptop, PDA or other device that is WLAN (WiFi 802,11) enabled, and your web browser to browse the internet.

Settings

Make sure that your equipment has the proper network wireless connection card.  If necessary please adjust you card settings according to the following instructions:

Instructions for Windows

1. Connection Settings adjustments to connect at the Kanapitsa Hot-Spot

From Start/Control Panel/Network Connections/right click on "wireless network connection"  and choose"View available wireless networks". Click on the  SSID of the network Kanapitsa Hot-Spot in order to connect to the  KANAPITSA WI-FI Hotspot. Make sure that the security is inactive.

2. Adjustments for Microsoft Internet Explorer

From your Browser click Tools/Internet Options/Connections, on "LAN Settings", open the window "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings". The following should be inactive:

- "Use a proxy server for your LAN"
- "Use automatic configuration script"
- "Automatically detect settings"

Instructions for Windows

• In order to connect on the KANAPITSA WI-FI Hotspot you must get a prepaid time card that is available at the reception of the hotel.

• Please note that with each card, ONLY one user can be online

• All rooms are equipped with LAN access points/WI-FI is not available in all rooms.  We advise you to have a LAN network connection cable with you.
