Traveling by air, Skiathos International airport connects with most major European cities during the summer season via charter flight. In addition, Skiathos International airport is connected daily with Athens International airport by flights of www.skyexpress.gr and www.aegeanair.com. During the wintertime, Skiathos is connected with Athens with 4-5 weekly flights.
If you are traveling by sea, Skiathos island is connected with the ports of Volos, Agios Konstantinos, and Mantoudi (Chalkida City) on the mainland; additionally, Skiathos is connected by boat with the neighboring islands of Skopelos and Alonissos. Ferry connections run all year round during the summer months more sailings are available from the mainland ports as well as interisland.
